A Safe Space
At Klub Dramatik, we believe in personal freedom, true diversity, responsible integrity and general respect. Self-expression is what makes our scene so beautiful, so not one person coming through our doors should face prejudice, criticism or conflict. Instead, our festival is a place of unrestrained celebration where different identities can flourish side by side.
We realized that creating a safe space demands more than just proclaiming your intentions and hoping for the best. That’s why we are doing what we should have done a lot sooner: taking a firm stance against discrimination and keeping our word. Any discriminatory or aggressive behaviour on our events – like racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism – will be dealt with swiftly and decisively.
What if you encounter discrimination?
Our security will be thoroughly trained and briefed beforehand. We will run test cases with our on-site team to ensure everyone knows what to do when the situation calls for it. When you see, hear or suspect any discriminative behaviour, speak up and contact our volunteers or security personnel.
What else? Respect, of course.
The Klub Dramatik team works tirelessly year-round to ensure our festival can take place in our beautiful parkside location. The only way we can keep it that way is with your cooperation. Please consider the environment and the residents nearby when enjoying our event. Throw your trash where it belongs (in the bins), and keep quiet once you’re out the door. That’s how we can continue Klub Dramatik next year.
